The Eight Bells Hotel is a traditional grade two listed country pub and restaurant with off road parking, situated opposite the village green, approximately one mile outside the village of Hawkhurst on the A229 in Kent.

The building was devastated by fire in the early 1990's and was later restored to its former glory. Some of the original Oak beams survived the fire which are around 400 years old.

We offer a fine selection of traditional cask and keg ales, lagers, spirits and wines. We have two bars catering for all tastes, one with an open fire, pool, darts and high definition TV, and a quieter relaxed traditional atmosphere in the other.

Our cozy restaurant with its wood burner offers traditional pub food and leads to our new terrace where diners can enjoy the outside atmosphere.

The pub has a large beer garden with an adjoining duck pond.

NEW: Separate fenced off area for the smaller children to enjoy (Available from Easter 2017).

Well behaved dogs on leads are always welcome.

Come in and enjoy at the Eight Bells and meet the hub of Hawkhurst's community.

Gill (the Landlady) and Steve (the Landlord) look forward to seeing you soon.
